Samsung Galaxy M35 5G Launch – Big Battery, Premium Sound & Triple Camera at an Affordable Price

Samsung has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone – the Galaxy M35 5G – and it’s already turning heads. Packed with a massive battery, a vibrant display, stereo speakers, and a versatile triple camera setup, the M35 5G offers a premium experience at a budget-friendly price. Priced at ₹18,999 (introductory), it’s designed for those who want solid performance and modern features without breaking the bank. Whether you’re a student, content creator, or someone who just wants a reliable all-rounder, the Galaxy M35 5G might just be the perfect fit.

Design and Display

The Galaxy M35 5G features a sleek and practical design. It has a matte textured back that resists fingerprints and provides a comfortable grip. The phone is available in elegant shades like Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Grey, giving it a modern yet subtle aesthetic.

On the front, you get a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels). What makes it stand out is the 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth scrolling, fluid animations, and an overall snappy experience especially great for gaming and binge-watching.

Despite its large battery, the phone feels well-balanced in hand. It might be a bit thicker than ultra-slim models, but the extra heft is understandable (and forgivable) considering its battery size.

Processor & Memory

Under the hood, the Galaxy M35 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset – a solid performer for everyday tasks, multitasking, and even casual gaming. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM, ensuring lag-free performance, even when switching between apps or playing demanding games.

You get 128GB of internal storage, which is more than enough for most users. Plus, there’s a dedicated microSD card slot that allows expansion up to 1TB, making storage concerns practically non-existent.

In terms of performance, the M35 handles social media, video calls, photography, and streaming with ease. It’s not a flagship killer, but it’s a smooth operator for the price.

Camera System

The Galaxy M35 5G features a triple rear camera setup:

  • 50MP main sensor (OIS-enabled)
  • 8MP ultra-wide camera
  • 2MP macro sensor

The 50MP primary sensor delivers sharp and detailed shots in good lighting, and thanks to optical image stabilization, photos are clearer and less shaky – especially in low light. Samsung’s Night Mode improves low-light photography significantly by reducing noise and enhancing brightness.

The 8MP ultra-wide lens is great for landscapes or group photos, while the 2MP macro lens is more of a bonus for close-up shots.

On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera tucked in a tiny notch. It performs well under natural light and supports portrait mode, beauty filters, and Full HD video recording.

Battery and Charging

One of the standout features of the Galaxy M35 5G is its massive 6,000mAh battery. This is a real game-changer for heavy users expect up to 2 days of moderate use on a single charge.

Whether you’re streaming videos, attending online classes, or just browsing all day, this phone won’t die on you halfway through the day. It supports 25W fast charging, which can charge the phone from 0 to 50% in about 30 minutes. However, keep in mind that the charger is not included in the box, a trend Samsung has been following lately.

Connectivity and Software

As the name suggests, the Galaxy M35 supports 5G connectivity, ensuring faster downloads, smoother streaming, and better overall network performance. It also features:

  • Dual SIM support
  • Wi-Fi 6
  • Bluetooth 5.3
  • USB Type-C port
  • Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos

On the software front, it runs Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI 6.1 on top. The interface is clean, customizable, and loaded with useful features like Secure Folder, Samsung Knox, and Good Lock modules for advanced tweaking. Samsung has also promised 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates, which is rare at this price point.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is priced at ₹18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant as part of its introductory launch offer. It is available exclusively on Amazon India and Samsung’s official website.

There are additional bank offers that can further reduce the effective price by ₹2,000 for select cardholders. So if you’re planning to grab one, it’s a good idea to check for those deals during launch week.

Final Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is a solid all-rounder for its price. It brings together a powerful battery, smooth AMOLED display, reliable cameras, and long-term software support something many other budget phones skip.

It’s perfect for:

  • Students who need a long-lasting phone for study and entertainment
  • Young professionals looking for an affordable yet capable daily driver
  • Content consumers who value a good screen and audio combo
  • Anyone switching to 5G without spending a fortune

While it doesn’t have flagship-level performance, the M35 5G delivers where it matters most. If you’re on a budget and want a phone that can keep up with your lifestyle, this one’s worth a serious look.

    1. But doesn’t this take you out of the group for Galaxy? Samsung is always giving offers to Galaxy users, like discounts for upgrades. You’d be leaving the Galaxy family of phones.
